The MAZDA Wrench Light Reset Process: Revealed

In general, this is the Mazda wrench light reset process for most Mazda vehicles for the last 10-years. Push-button start and traditional key models are similar. Additional models are discussed below:

  1. With your key in position 2 (or your push-button pressed with your foot off the brake), power up your Mazda without the vehicle running
  2. On your touchscreen/main menu, scroll to Applications ---> Vehicle Status Monitor ---> Maintenance ---> Oil Change ---> Reset
  3. At this point, your system will ask if you want to reset the oil-change/life meter
  4. Select YES
  5. Congrats, you've just reset your Mazda wrench light!

Here's the thing, though. You need to make sure your maintenance is completed on time! Failure to perform scheduled maintenance by certain mileage intervals can lead to serious mechanical problems and/or loss of the existing vehicle warranty.

While easy to do, resetting your Mazda wrench light without proper service could spell disaster! Our Mazda dealership in Florida is always here to help you with parts and service coupons, so don't miss out on savings designed to keep your MAZDA vehicle at its best.
